Terms of use

Last updated: 30 October 2026

By using Rail Junction you agree to these terms. Please read them; they are short.

1. What Rail Junction is

Rail Junction is a small independent project that helps you plan train journeys in India, including journeys with changes. It is not an official website of Indian Railways, IRCTC or the Government of India, and it is not connected to them. We do not sell tickets. To book, you go to IRCTC or another authorised website, and your booking is between you and them.

2. Information may be wrong or out of date

We are not railway experts. Train times, running days, stops and classes come from the printed Indian Railways timetable for 2026 ("Trains at a Glance") and may have changed since. Small stations may be missing. Delays, connection ratings, "Plan B" suggestions and road distances are our own estimates, not live information and not guarantees.

Always check your trains, times and stations on IRCTC or NTES before you book or travel. Allow enough time for changes, especially at night and in fog season.

3. Our responsibility

Rail Junction is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss, missed train, extra cost or inconvenience that results from using information on this website. You decide how to travel.

4. Fair use

Please use Rail Junction for planning your own travel. Do not copy the website in bulk, overload it with automated requests, or use it for anything unlawful.

5. Other websites

We link to other websites such as IRCTC. We are not responsible for their content, prices or services. In future some links may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you; we will say so where this applies.

6. Names, design and data

The Rail Junction name, logo and design belong to us. The website uses information from other sources under their licences:

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
